Adding an advocate to your child's team has many benefits.

I have experienced eligibility and IEP meetings as an educator of exceptional students and as a parent of exceptional children.  My personal position is to approach this process with curiosity.  I believe a child is an intricate puzzle waiting to be pieced together and approach advocacy with an exploratory mindset.  My goal is to look beyond what is on the surface and explore the root cause of challenges by reading through previous evaluation reports and comments and concerns from educators, listening to parent concerns, and if appropriate, engaging in conversation with the child about their perception of school.

I can offer you professional guidance, as well as personal support as your advocate.  I have been in your shoes and know how overwhelming the eligibility and IEP process can be.  Though I may not have all of the answers, I can promise you if a question or situation arises that is outside of my realm of expertise, I will find someone who can help.

I LOVE to speak with other parents about their children's strengths and challenges.  Though I do have a fee structure for advocacy, there may be exceptions for those who need help but cannot afford the standard fee.
